DEEP ROOT FERTILIZING
With this premium complete care program, we come and evaluate your property's trees and shrubs, in 3 to 6 set intervals during the year.
On each visit, the health and appearance each of the individual plant is inspected and evaluated by our specialist.
He will determine which chemicals, if any, will be used.
We only apply insecticides and fungicides where they are needed, when they are needed. The same is also said for fertilizing because you can harm ornamental trees and shrubs by over-fertilizing them.
Also, by doing this it will help to reduce the amount of other unneeded chemicals that would be applied to your trees & shrubs.
So, if we see a problem, an Ornamental Tree or Shrub Spray of either a Fertilizer, an Insecticide, or a Fungicide will be applied where necessary.
DORMANT OIL APPLICATION (HORTICULTURAL OIL)
Dormant Oil can be applied to help control difficult types of insects in their overwintering (or hibernation) stage, before any damage occurs.
The oil would be sprayed on the bark of affected tree or shrub, where hibernating, non-active insects, eggs and fungi or diseases may be growing.
Dormant Oil offers protection that can prevent significant damage to your ornamental trees and shrubs when performed in November and December or February and March, while your plants are still dormant.
The benefits of dormant oil application are:
Improved and promotes disease resistance.
Adds to Insect infestation protection. (scale and mites)
Deep Root Fertilizing of Ornamental and Large Trees
Deep Root Fertilizing of Done in the fall, this is a process where a high-quality nutrient solution is injected into the ground below, targeted down into the root zone of the plant.
These micro-nutrients are pushed down deep under pressure, which also helps to aerate the surrounding soil that also helps to increase the amount of much-needed oxygen getting to the trees root system.
